From Wiki Essays

Well, to be honest, these are mostly mini-essays, each one tied in to another, which makes wikis very natural structures. Think of this as a hypertext brain dump of ideas which would otherwise manifest as standard essays, if I would but take the time to write them. But in this day and age of fleeting ideas and piecemeal contruction of ideas, this seems to fit me and my brain.

Some essays I expect to write include a history of fantasy role playing games, an explanation of why I think Nature is the most spiritual place anyone could ever spend time in, why travel matters and various forays into my love and hate relationship with linguistics.

Water

Water plays an undeniably essential role in just about every facet of life, and is the central evidence being sought by scientists in the search for extraterrestrial life. More under Water. Underwater... heh.

The Joy of Rapture

This weekend brought an enjoyable juxtaposition of events in my life that has sparked a new idea.

So, it seems that some flavor of the rapture may have, in fact, occurred. It's just that none of us were chosen. And no, Randy Savage was not leading the way -- the timing of his death was mere coincidence.
